What is EBOLA ?

  • Ebola is a deadly infectious disease caused by the Ebola virus
  • It is a type of extreme fever, with symptoms like vomiting and internal and external bleeding West Africa is facing the largest Ebola outbreak in history – over 8000 people have died
  • There is no cure, but potential vaccines are being tested
  • It’s communicated through bodily fluids
  • The best way to prevent the spread of Ebola is to maintain careful hygiene, Washing hands with soap. Sanitizing surfaces. Wearing gloves and face masks when near patients

What are we doing ?

The 2014-2015 Group 4 Class is collecting medical supplies to send to healthcare workers in Africa who are fighting Ebola.

  • Face Masks
  • Band-aids
  • Soaps
  • Wipes

Why are we doing this ?

We,the children of SSE, want to help those less fortunate than us in accordance with Swami’s teachings of love and service.We are acting locally to make a global impact.It is our duty and privilege to help those in need
