Dr. Veeru Mudigonda specialized in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and later in Neurosurgery. He is currently a Community Practitioner in Wales, U.K. He holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Dentistry from Hyderabad, India, and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Cardiff, U.K. He is a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, Member of Royal College of Surgeons, London, and Member of Royal College of General Practitioners, London. He has received many academic accolades during a distinguished career in medicine, including, Gold Medal from American College of Dentists, Gold Medal in Periodontology, Colgate Palmolive Gold Medal for academic excellence, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Gold Medal for all-round excellence in medicine in the State of Andhra Pradesh, and Merit Award for excellence in medicine, Cardiff University, U.K.

Dr. Mudigonda comes from a family of Sathya Sai devotees, having come to Bhagawan at the age of six. He was fortunate to be a student in Swami’s school, receiving his Diploma in Sathya Sai Education from Bhagawan in Prasanthi Nilayam, in 1983. As an active youth, he led many medical camps and service programmes, and has given talks in the Divine Presence. He has been involved in the Sathya Sai International Organisation in the U.K. since the turn of this century, and has held various positions of responsibility. He is an inspiring speaker and a tireless worker in the service of Lord Sai.

Currently, Dr. Veeru Mudigonda is the National Council President of the SSIO of U.K. He also serves as a Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Charitable Trust, U.K., and editor of Love & Light Magazine, U.K.
