Dr. Narendranath Reddy is the Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO). Dr. Reddy graduated in medicine with honors from S.V. Medical College, Tirupati, India. He specialized in internal medicine at the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, USA. Later, he did his sub-specialization in endocrinology and metabolism at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He has been a consultant and a practicing internist-endocrinologist in Southern California for more than 40 years.
Four generations of Dr. Reddy's family have been followers of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, with Dr. Reddy himself having come to Bhagawan Baba at the age of five. Dr. Reddy and his family have been hosting a Sri Sathya Sai Centre in their home for 40 years.
Professor Dr. Suresh Govind is a Professor and former Head of the Department Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya with more than 170 scientific papers, presented more than 270 conference papers, written several chapters in publications by World Health Organization and supervised more than 100 elective, diploma, graduate and post-graduate students including at doctorate level. He was the winner of the National Young Scientist Award, Malaysian Toray Grant Award, Commonwealth Scholarship Award, Gold Innovative award at the national level as well as the winner of GOLD medal at the international ITEX exhibition. He has also won the Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine Medal, the Prime Minister’s Productivity award and the prestigious Malaysian Toray Science award as well as winning a few times the University Malaya excellence award. He was conferred a Fellow to the Malaysian Academy of Science in 2015 and the prestigious Sandosham Gold medal for outstanding contribution to the field of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine. He also won the Parija Award from the Indian Parasitology Society.
Prof Dr. Suresh Govind served as the Deputy National Youth Coordinator, National Youth Coordinator, Vice-President, Deputy President and after 20 years served as President of the Sathya Sai International Organization, Malaysia, He has been instrumental in many nation building programmes in the country and have, travelled extensively around the world upon invitation to speak to youth, educators and members of the organization on human values and selfless service. He has authored 7 books mainly on human values and teachings of Bhagavan Baba.
He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Malaysian UNITY Foundation. served as a Board member at the Ministry of Family Development, Coordinator for Friendship Group for Inter-Religious Service, Member of the Public Outreach Committee for Community Engagement and Chair for the Sri Sathya Sai Scriptural Studies committee for SSSIO.
He has been been involved with SSSIO for over 30 years.
