SPEAKER : Dr. T. RAVI KUMAR
Dr. T. Ravi Kumar came to Swami in the early 60’s. He was a student of first batch of Bal vikas in 1969. Did his schooling from the RBANMS high school in the early seventies. Joined the erstwhile Sri Sathya Sai Arts and Science college in Brindavan in the year 1974 for his intermediate class. Completed his B.Sc. in the same college securing a University rank. Went on to do his Masters in chemistry from the SV university PG centre at Anantapur.
Joined SSIHL Brindavan College as a lecturer in Chemistry in the year 1981. Went over to Prashanti nilayam to do his Ph.D in Organic Chemistry at Bhagavan’s command. After securing a Ph.D degree and a gold medal from the Divine Hands of Bhagavan in the year 1990, was again posted as a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry, Brindavan campus in 1990. Presently is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry Department, Brindavan Campus. He is a Member of Board of Studies of the Department of Chemistry, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. He has lived for the last 35 years in the Sri Sathya Sai Hostel guiding and training youth in Sai way of life. Was appointed as Deputy Warden by Bhagavan in the year 2009. Has been appointed as Warden from May 2011. Has had his training in public speaking from Bhagavan personally.
He has given innumerable talks
in the Divine Presence at Bhagavan’s command in Trayee, Poornachandra
auditorium Sai kulwanth hall, Sai Ramesh Hall in Sai Sruti. He has been
a regular speaker in summer course on Indian culture and spirituality
and Dusserah celebrations since 1977.
Is deeply interested in Indian Carnatic music. Has participated in a
number of dramas directed by Bhagavan and in athletic events. Has been in
the Bhajan group, Vedam group and the Sathya Sai college band in the 70’s.
He has travelled widely speaking about Bhagavan’s message of Universal
Love in different parts of India, in United Kingdom, Europe and Sri Lanka.
