Devotion is one of the three wings of the Sai Organization (the other two being selfless service (seva) and education in human values). This page will discuss various aspect of the devotion program, which includes devotional singing (bhajans), study circles, prayers, and meditation. A Sathya Sai Center has five officers: President, Vice President, and a coordinator for each wing of the Center: Devotion Coordinator, Education Coordinator, and Service Coordinator. A Group may have fewer officers, the exact number of officers to depend on the makeup and needs of the Group. The Devotion Coordinator has overall responsibility for the various elements of the Center’s devotion program, including the following (various aspects may be delegated to others)
1.Maintaining Center premises and an altar that is simple, universal, and in accordance with guidelines,
2.Coordinating devotion meetings
3.Coordinating study circles
4.Coordinating practice of devotional singing
5.Establishing and maintaining a program of newcomer welcome and orientation
6.Maintaining a library of literature, audio tapes, CDs, and DVDs
